TAKELEY CHURCHWARDEN We celebrated All Souls Day with a Family Service on Sunday 1st November, which was very moving, with the congregation placing lighted tea lights on the altar in memory of those who had died. On Saturday 7th November, the PCCs of both churches met for drinks (tea and Coffee) and cake at the Lion & Lamb, to talk about the possible joining of the two committees. It was a very productive couple of hours. This will be discussed further at each separate PCC meeting. It is also a long process. The Churchwardens of both churches also met on Monday 9th November to start the Parish Profile, which is what we have to produce when we start the Interregnum after Laurie’s departure. I should like to say here: Good Luck in your new parishes Laurie, and we hope to see you again at our church in the future.
